| PALAMOS, SPAIN-(28-12-2002) Excellent start at the 2002 Christmas Race. With SW winds, 20 knots, all classes have been able to complete the schedule of races with three races sailed in all racing areas. Western, changing winds, force 2-3 are expected for tomorrow.
Day 2
The day started with a forecast of NE winds, 8 knots in Palamós Bay but no wind has finally visited us.
The Race Committee vessels have been at the racing areas from 10 to 15.30 but they have had variable winds and only 5 knots. Unfortunately, the races of the day have been postponed to tomorrow.
The weather forecast for 29 December gives strong Northern winds (`Tramuntana`). Tonight, all sailors will be able to enjoy a nice barbecue offered by the organisation.
